November 18, 201014 yr I hope everyone realizes that I was being facetious! I'm no longer 17 and driving around in my IROC T-top in my acid washed leisure suit (oh, those were the days). I'm not really a cologne person. On super fancy occassions I may shpritz myself with some cologne my wife bought me years ago from Clinique and that's it. She bought it for me when we were dating and we've been married 9 years now. I was using some light gel to hold my hair in place (I have really straight hair), but about a month ago I ran out and had to go out with nothing in the hair, and it held up ok. So I haven't been using anything. As a result I don't have to wash my hair as much anymore. I'll rinse it every day, but only use shampoos on alternating Thursdays, Wednesdays that end in a 7 and the vernal equinox.
November 18, 201014 yr To me it just seems like the safe and expensive, generic cologne for the generic white collar worker. I smell it everywhere. I don't know how you could think it smells awful (and this coming from a friggin dumpster diver!? lol). There's only one cologne that really smells awful to me. Paul Sebastian. It makes me gag. That sh!t should be banned from stores. What the hell do they put in that? Seriously. I'm not an authority on cologne though; I've only had Versace Black Jean, Acqua Di Gio, Ralph Lauren and now this Patrick Dempsey stuff someone gave to me. The RL and Versace were christmas gifts but I actually really liked the Black Jean. I always forget to put on cologne when I go out so my bottles last forever lol.
November 18, 201014 yr The Patrick Dempsey is Avon. Sorry! I actually have 2 avon perfumes that are really nice, the Reese Witherspoon one and one other one.
November 18, 201014 yr I rarely wear cologne (dries out my eyes too much), but my last purchase was Kenneth Cole Black.
November 18, 201014 yr If there was a Patrick Dempsey shampoo that gave you his hair, I would buy it. That guy has a thick mane and my wife reminds me of the fact everytime we see him on TV. I'd take Reese Witherspoon's hair too at this point.

Throw that away. It will make you sick. the chemicals - most likely - have broken down and the fragrance has gone stale. You should never keep fragrance for more than 2 years. If it's out of the box or in a sunlit room then it will breakdown even faster. Keep your fragrances in dark cool locations.

Well, luckily the contractors are just about done with the finish work on the cologne cellar, so when I buy the new bottle, that should last until I'm dead.

November 18, 201014 yr You need some Jesus! www.christcologne.com ??? LOL! "You've drank his blood.. You've eaten his body... Now wear his fragrance..."
November 18, 201014 yr I'm black. We ain't got that! hahahha thats why you dont understand! white people hair sucks! unless its a buzzcut then you dont have bedhead White peoples' hair sucks!?! Compared to black hair, hell no. I've had a few black boyfriends now and it only took one time helping one of them "relax" their hair for me to say, "F*** That." I now get why there are wig shops all over black neighborhoods. Their skin's no better either...having to lotion up every time they get out of the shower or else they start moulting. Ugh... Face it, white folks got it made. Don't hate.
November 18, 201014 yr And to answer the thread question: I shower every morning, the BF showers at night. We both wash our faces morning and night. The black hair (on the BF) gets washed once per week, mine gets washed every other day.

Face it, white folks got it made. Don't hate. You've dated a "guys" who relaxed his hair? Apparently you've dated brothas with bad hygience, grooming and genetics! Did he relax "down there" also? :| :? UMMMM (Side Eye) Oh honey, you pasty ass white folks with your ashy ass skin need lotion more than we do! The only reason you cant see you ashy skin is because your white. And don't get me started on Rosacea and liver spots! Hell you all have the nerve to run out and GTL every damn chance you get so you can be black. Child hush!
November 18, 201014 yr Most people think their features are the best. At least, they're supposed to. It means you're proud of who you are. I think the reason white people use less lotion is simply because dead skin is harder to see, the lighter you are. When I get out of the shower I can definitely FEEL my skin being dry. My face craves lotion like no other.
November 18, 201014 yr ^where have you been? You know he is only alloted a certain amount of time out of "the home" a month!

November 18, 201014 yr It's true, i wear patchouli on fridays. The other Avon I have is called Rare Gold.
November 18, 201014 yr My hair has gotten really long, and I've had to sort of come up with a system to get it to look even somewhat how I want it to. I have to take a shower at night, go to bed with nothing in it. Then when I wake up, I literally put my head under the faucet (because my bed head is realllly bad), and then have to run some gel through to make it not poof up. It always looks best about a day after showering, but if I wait too long, it starts to look really greasy and gross. I'll be getting my hair cut short in a few days... As far as cologne, I used to use Lacoste, but now I either use Gucci by Gucci, or Bvlgari Aqua. Usually just wear at night, but if I have something important to go to, I'll wear some days too.
November 19, 201014 yr I shower in the morning to feel fresh going to work, and then shower immediately when I get home from the office, or right after I workout when I get home. Because I don't cook, nothing feels better then taking shower then going to get a nice meal. The best part of my shower is the view. There's actually a window inside of it. It's frosted glass, but I'll turn off the bathroom lights, and open the window up to look out. During the winter the hot water and cold air outside make a ridiculous amount of steam
November 19, 201014 yr Every morning. Maybe 3-4 times at night per week, but that would only be a rinse off.
November 19, 201014 yr Every morning for me too. I don't like to smell like 'bed' all day long. Shower before bed only if I've worked out prior or been outside doing dirty stuff.
November 19, 201014 yr ^If you moisturizer, body spray, shave gel guys ever need some MK Men, let me know. LOL :) PS. MK stands for Mary Kay. Don't hate.
November 19, 201014 yr In the morning - mostly because I get really warm while sleeping; usually during the winter I'll wake up and have two pugs and a partner clamped on me like iguanas on a heat rock. In the summer on the hottest and muggiest days I might hop in during the evening just to cool down. I usually wear Crush during the day and Angel (aka A-Men) for night; in the summer I add something more citrusy like Issey Miyake. And yes - I got my swirl on once (dated a black guy) who was a stylist but relaxing his hair? Uhh, NO. His lady clientele, sure - but never him. ProkNo, you just found an odd bird to shack up with! clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram

ProkNo, you just found an odd bird to shack up with! The one who relaxed was the one I was dating when I met you actually. The other guys shaved their hair off, so I guess I just assume that they shave their hair off so they don't have to go through that hellish process.
November 19, 201014 yr Most black men do not relax, even with a lot of hair. They turn into things called "afros" or they put on the wave cap. Black women normally get their hair relaxed but even lately that's not true. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
November 19, 201014 yr I'll shower when I damn well feel dirty or odorous, or every other day when I am neither. I think Americans bathe too often anyway, but it also helps that I shave my head. Apropos of nothing, I think I found a video of MTS's fragrance routine:

November 19, 201014 yr I shower two or three times a week, usually only on days when I've gone running. To paraphrase a line from George Carlin, as long as you wash your face, armpits, balls and ass everyday that's more than enough.
