December 14, 201014 yr Nice Pics. I was in town for a Holiday party on Saturday night, I really have a new appreciation for the downtown Youngstown view from I-680. It's actually bigger than I remember it being when I lived there. The building mixture is nice and dense and everything is pretty close in scale. The Isley dairy/U-haul Art Deco building needs some TLC though, it's looking pretty rough. However, I had to drive along the river through Campbell (To Lowellville) and that's just depressing....It looks like the detour that I took a few years back through West Virginia south of Charleston when 77 was closed due to an accident. Struthers is hanging on and seems to be doing alright though.
December 14, 201014 yr Thanks for the pics. Were you downtown on a weekend? Some very pretty scenery in there.... "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
