Youngstown has such handsome buildings downtown...

Nice Pics.

I was in town for a Holiday party on Saturday night, I really have a new appreciation for the downtown Youngstown view from I-680. It's actually bigger than I remember it being when I lived there. The building mixture is nice and dense and everything is pretty close in scale. The Isley dairy/U-haul Art Deco building needs some TLC though, it's looking pretty rough.

However, I had to drive along the river through Campbell (To Lowellville) and that's just depressing....It looks like the detour that I took a few years back through West Virginia south of Charleston when 77 was closed due to an accident. Struthers is hanging on and seems to be doing alright though.

Thanks for the pics. Were you downtown on a weekend?

Some very pretty scenery in there....

Anyway, thanks for the thread, ink.  Youngstown is looking pretty good.

That's one of my favorite views every morning on my way to work. The skyline from 680 S is highly underrated.
