Hello UO, I am looking for a book on formal debate and I am having trouble finding one locally.  I have went to all the chains (boarders, half price....), but no luck.  They have it on amazon, but I want to buy it now (i have the time to read now) and i do not want to wait for it to get shipped.

 

Any ideas?

Loganberry Books, Horizontal, the one on Coventry..name anyone?, Visible Voice Books, Old Erie Street Bookstore (open by appointment only and deals in mostly hard to find books), to name a few... if they don't have it, they'll order it and the purchase is for a purpose, as you will be supporting local/independent businesses and economies. :-)

of course one of the best bookstores in the usa for old hard to find books is zubal's on w25th st, but unfortunately you cant go browse in there. i dont think he carries current books, but if yours is older or a classic you may have some luck:

ps - you might try csu or another campus bookstore. longman's? sounds like your book could be used for a class, so maybe they would have it or can get it for you.

Do you have an ipad/ipod you can purchase and download the book and read it at anytime.

Also try Apple Tree Books in Cleveland Heights.  I'm sure they would probably need to order the book also though.
