Lawd Jesus with these Hardee's chicken fingers!

"You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers

I love Hardee's, but there are none on the west side of Cleveland.  However, we do have Rally's which is a close second.  Lately though, I've been eating chocolate fudge pop-tarts!

Red Lobster in about an hour..

I'm baking potatoes, and we're going to have bratwurst sandwiches from the Sausage Shoppe with them, and fried green tomatoes.

A glazed Krispy Kreme donut is currently in my left had. :-D

Emmie - You need to come down south. I'm in Charlotte right now and you don't have to look far to find a Hardee's location (just had a Frisco burger last night :-D) They seem to be a lot harder to find in the northern states. Come to think of it, I don't even think we have a Hardee's in Cincy :-(. Maybe that's why I enjoyed that Frisco burger so much.

I HAVE to get my Zaxby's fix while I'm down here too!

I eat like a pig, yet I'm 5'11" and not even 160.....yes, hate me now! lol

^Screw Hardee's... in NC, you have Biscuitville and an endless supply of 24 hour diners.  And Cookout too (which puts Rally's to shame).  Of course, I say this now but know that my stomach went from solid iron to that tinfoil from the Dollar Store about 5 years ago when it comes to that type of food  :x  If I even come within 500 yards of a Rally's, I feel like I have to use the bathroom.

Me... I am still trying to work my way through this xmas ham.

Snacking on Ballreich's sour cream and onion potato chips trying to make it to the end of the workday...

The endless suplly of diners is one of the main reason why I  could not live here. And I agree Cookout is good! I love their milkshakes. Rally's is pretty good IMO though. I guess I may have acquired the taste since I live about 5 minutes from one.

.....Biscuitville. Lol. Smothered in chunky gravy.

"You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers

I made a huge pot of chili! Anyone want some?

Chili is best from a huge pot.

I've never had Hardee's or Red Lobster.

Friend mushrooms are pretty good. I've only found them at independent places.

I'm eating honey-lemon halls right now.  It's going to make my lunch taste awesome.

You're not missing anything.

Except those Hardee's chicken fingers!  LAWDJESUSYES!!!

They turned every Hardee's back home into a Wendy's or a Tim Ho's.  I think it was for the best.

I miss Tim Horton's!

I miss Tim Horton's!

i could go for some timbits

TIM HORTON'S?!?!?!  LORD NO!!!  Driest donuts EVER!!!

I just really dig their mocha's.  And iced mocha's!  And they're so CHEAP!

TIM HORTON'S?!?!?! LORD NO!!! Driest donuts EVER!!!

If i wanted amazing fresh donuts i'd go to Uncle John's Cider Mill in St. John's, Michigan.

I just swore off Ridge Donut Shop since they left Cincinnati and moved to Silverton.

Forget the rest, Jack Frost donuts at the corner where Fulton runs into Pearl right before I480 is the place to be.

Crow.

Just had some Chicago dogs from Hot Doggin It on Montgomery Road (Fields Ertel area).

Spinach Feta Sausage custom cased at Gibbs Butcher Block in Columbia Station.  Good stuff Man.  Got some barbeque chicken sausage cased today too.  I may have that one tommorrow.  If you're from Cleveland, and you have never been there, make it a must trip.  Corner of Sprague, and 252 in Columbia Station.  You really can choose whatever you want in the sausage.  Saturdays, they have tastings from 11AM to 3PM...ish.

This.  Is.  Awesome.

Yeah, 3-Way! Suck it, rest-of-Ohio! :P

Ha, we're known for disgusting fast food.  Awesome.

Ugh... that Cincy chili is just not my cup of tea. I'll stick with my no-bean chili... no beans, but the following meats:

Chorizo

Ground sirloin

Cubed pork

Beef brisket

Beef bacon

Pork bacon

And the following veggies:

Celery

Cilantro

Shallots (carmelized)

Scallions

Anaheim peppers

Jalapeño peppers

Fresno peppers

Banana peppers

Onions (carmelized)

And then there's the rest:

Bolivian sea salt

Grated fresh garlic

Granulated roasted garlic

Ancho chile powder

Chili powder

Ground coriander

Cumin (out the wazoo)

Unsweetened chocolate

And for good measure, a bottle or two of cerveza - not just *with* the chili but IN the chili. And of course - cornbread to sop it all up with :-)

Now we're talking.  I may be asking you for another recipe for my wife to cook for me. :)

EDIT:  Thanks a lot, MayDay.  I read over those ingredients again and now I just salivated on my keyboard.

I usually order hummus if it's on the menu.  Had it at Southside last night, surprisingly tasteless.

I could pull a Clefan98 and say "HATERZ!!!" but I'll be polite and say "Look at Nevada."

Or Utah.

Utah's is pretty baffling. It makes me think of cult kool-aid. Is this fueling the polygamy groups? I never knew Utahans had a thing for green jello.

I have to say, I feelin' New Mexico & Texas.  (don't judge me!)

And steak is good for you? Child please.

The peppers, on the other hand...good for you and delicious!

Yes.  I eat mine rare!

I lived in NM for about a year and their state motto is "red or green?"  You would get asked that question literally anytime you ate out.  Even Mcdonald's had a green chile cheeseburger.

Yes. I eat mine rare!

Good luck with e. coli.
