March 21, 201411 yr Mall to be demolished for a 100-acre industrial park... http://fox8.com/2014/03/19/big-plans-randall-park-mall-to-be-transformed/ "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
March 21, 201411 yr Fantastic! While I have no problem with redeveloping of old, failing malls into newer more stylish 'lifestyle centers' (Parmatown and Westgate come to mind); long term it does nothing to address the problem of there being waaaaaaay too many retail/commercial properties in a community. The location right off of 480 suits an industrial park, and heck after work all the employees can go to the Racino across the street and spend their paychecks gambling and drinking. It'll be just like the 1920's. No but really this sounds like the best re-use possible.
March 21, 201411 yr this is very good news. its a satisfying closing chapter to what was once the original mall of america.
March 20, 20187 yr Randall Park Mall is gone...as the final post to this thread :) SOURCE:https://www.facebook.com/aerialaspect/ The "Age of Amazon" has emerged.
