Tonight I'm taking a few ladies over to Coventry to "La Bodega's" insane ladies' night special:

10 martinis for $10 every Monday night for females.

This got me thinking, what are some of the best specials/drink specials around Cleveland?  Please post here.

My new favorite downtown happy hour is Zinc, where every drink is 50% off.

^Sorry - is that a selection of ten different martinis for $10.00 each? Or are we talking TEN martinis for a buck each?

My two favorite local happy hours are Lava Lounge (great food and drink specials AND it lasts until 8pm) and Bac (great food specials, drink specials are standard as far as price, but the different cocktails are awesome).

Pretty much every restaurant in Ohio City and Tremont has an awesome happy hour. I'll second LAva Lounge and add Lolita, Momocho, and the Petit Triangle(very underrated in my opinion).

Agree with bumsquare.  You can basically try any restaurant that you may think is too pricey.  They pretty much all have happy hour food specials that give you a nice taste of what kind of food they serve.  In fact you Clevelanders are very fortunate like that!

The lady pays ten dollars, and she can select up to ten martini's off of the drink list.  So it breaks down to a buck a piece.  Most girls stop ordering around 6-7 though it seems.  Heading over right now...

MH How did that go? :)  That's insane. I only know one girl who could probably go for all 10.

^. Haha!

The girls I brought both stopped at 5 or 6.  BUT they seemed happy enough!

Wait wait wait.....

$10 for 10 martinis?  Total??????????

^haha yes!

Only Mondays, only females.

I'm finding a wig!

I couldn't help but compare Chinato with owner Zack Bruell's other restaurants -- Table 45, Parallax and L'Albatros. Stupid me. They're all so different. But they do have one thing in common: a unique, personal take on a cuisine. In this case, Italian. Chinato's Happy Hour offers a low-cost trip to the Italian kitchen of Bruell's mind. Most items fetch $5, from the small plates to wines and cocktails. Even better, the selections. You rarely see gnocchi on Happy Hour menus. And a seemingly obvious choice -- the Panini of Soppressata with young pecorino -- tasted nothing like any panini I've had of late. Oh, and it's pretty big and comes with fries. Which means I think I'm stopping here before I go to The Q next time -- eating rich on a popcorn budget, woohoo!

I'm sure there's been plenty of investment already made.....

Good write up as Table 45 and Parallax are two of my favorite restaurants.

^ Then u need to try L'albatros...which is mine and many people favorite Zach Bruell restaurant.

I'm not into French food.  I'll leave that to family francophile, my mom!
