I dig the courthouse.

Some great potential if they can keep up on the improvements.

Pontiac is a nice town; I've been there a few times.

Every year on Labor Day Weekend, they host one of the oldest and best-known of the various old-time farm equipment shows, with steam threshing, sawmilling, and various other activites. They get huge crowds.

It looks like they've finished the windows in the courthouse; I remember seeing it over a period of time with the top halves of all the windows covered over, and I hoped they didn't plan to keep it that way. It looks great.

Edit: Here's what the windows looked like. They were like this for several years, and although at first I thought it was temporary, I was beginning to wonder:

So this is the town they named the car after, huh?

Good bones and a very nice courthouse.

There's a memorial on the courthouse square bearing a plaque that tells a little bit about Ottawa Chief Pontiac and the 18th-century native American rebellion against the British. Not all historians agree regarding the importance in that uprising, but it became popularly known as Pontiac's Rebellion.

First time I've ever laid eyes on this city, and I have to say that I like what I see...and as others have noted, the courthouse is a rock star!
