If you live in the City of Cleveland, are there any provisions in any suburban school districts whereby you can you send your kids to a public school in that suburban/neighboring district if you pay tuition or a fee of some kind?

Hts121--thanks very much--I never knew of this option.  Any such arrangements with any West Side districts?

Would they all be that expensive?

Not that I'm aware of.

Likely.  I imagine it has to reflect the "per pupil" cost to the District.  Fyi, you can get into a good montessori school for about that much, maybe even less.

It's a tax bill.  At Shaker, those who lived in Cleveland received a tax bill.  It's due sometime the week before the semester starts.

Same thing with the Cleve. Hts. Univ. Hts & S. Euclid-Lyndhurst district as some kids in northern S. Euclid attend CHUH schools and some kids in Univ. Hts. (IIRC) near Cedar Center attend SEL schools.

Not quite.  If you live in the Shaker school district, you likely don't pay that much to the district in taxes.

Sorry.  Let me clarify, you pay a shaker heights city schools tax bill.

Right.  But that is different and much smaller than non-resident tuition.
