January 30, 201114 yr Thanks for the pics.  The second building is not the Allerton Apartments and the Public Hall is not the Convention Center.

January 30, 201114 yr Great pics. Btw, BP's North American headquarters is no longer in Cleveland. The company packed up and moved to Chicago in the late 90s after it merged with Amoco.

That BP was once HQ'd there. His statement (granted the validity is in question) is correct. Is it really that important? I dont believe anyone would think BP is HQ in Cleveland since the company has been gone for over a decade. Can we move on as I dont want this thread to get off track.
January 31, 201114 yr Great stuff! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers

No, it's not that important, which is why I find it interesting you felt so compelled to weigh in on my comment with a snarky remark. Btw, during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, NBC News showed file footage of 200 Public Square on every broadcast when discussing BP's corporate response. Seems to suggest that at least someone was under the misimpression that BP was still headquartered here, just as our kind poster, Jaybird, appears to have been.

BTW, I've changed some of the captions on my pictures here recently to reflect the mistakes everybody has kindly told me about. ;)

February 2, 201114 yr You covered a lot of territory! Thanks for the tour, and I look forward to more.
February 7, 201114 yr An awesome photo-document of DT Cleveland! Worth repeated viewings--one cannot help but be impressed. Thanks!
February 11, 201114 yr A quite comprehensive tour of downtown! Interesting thing for me is that despite the great tour you have only photographed 2 (for all intents and purposes) of my top-10 downtown buildings...the Rose Bldg and the Standard Bldg. Good to see the Standard in a photo thread. Rose Bldg Standard Bldg
