ODOT funding available for transportation projects across the state

The Ohio Department of Transportation began accepting funding request applications Sunday from municipalities across the state for three types of transportation infrastructure projects.

"These projects are important to our communities," said Gordon Proctor, director of ODOT. "They help develop infrastructure which promotes growth and economic development. They also provide funds to enhance a community's quality of life by making safety upgrades and adding aesthetics to local projects."

 

Nearly $27 million in federal funding stands to be awarded.

 

Sounds like money they could use to cap the 70/71 split instead of fighting it tooth and nail.

Perhaps Rivage should put in an application.
