February 10, 201114 yr It looks like the Peter Lewis building is having sex with itself - yeah my mind went there. Great shots, especially the Case stuff
February 10, 201114 yr Great tour! Some observations: 1) The Cleveland Museum of Art looks like it has a really comprehensive collection. Very impressive. 2) Love the verticality of the Key Tower...such a great building. Same with the Terminal Tower. However, the skyline looks so unbalanced from so many angles. I know Cleveland has more than the big 3 skyscrapers, but they really do dwarf everything else in the skyline. 3) The Museum of Natural History looks majorly weak. 4) University Circle is beautiful! Tons of great architecture, and I love the lagoon. Great thread, thanks for sharing with us!
February 11, 201114 yr Great pics of architecture and art! Thanks for sharing. Weren't there many people out and about? FYI: The Glidden House is a boutique hotel... http://www.gliddenhouse.com/ "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
February 11, 201114 yr Wonderful photos, and I enjoyed your very understated titles for the museum photos! That really made me smile....
February 14, 201114 yr I like these photos a lot. I haven't been in the Museum of Art in at least 20 years, and it looks like I need to go there. Time was, photography was prohibited on the premises of most art museums. It's good that more and more, they're allowing it in most of their gallery spaces.
