Posted February 13, 201114 yr Here's Part THREE of my Cleveland tour. This part of the tour includes the Murray Hill Neighborhood, Little Italy, Cleveland Clinic, and Progressive Field and game between the Detroit Tigers and the Indians. Murray Hill, on Cornell Street Little Italy La Pizzeria, where I ate, the place just opened not long ago, the pie they have is very fine, like what it should be in Italy. :) Main Business Area of Little Italy, corner of Murray Hill and Mayfield Holy Rosary Church Nice Park in Little Italy These homes with three storeys and an angled roof are typical of what you see in Cleveland. Back at the Medical Campus of Case Western University More typical Cleveland homes... A little Tudor style near the University Looking west on Euclid, waiting for the Health Line Rapid Bus... Cleveland Clinic Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Pavilion Building Glickman Building and Tower Lerner Research Institute Building... Intercontinental Hotel East Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cole Eye Institute Cleveland Clinic Alumni House I believe this is the main and original Cleveland Clinic Hospital Facility Stanley Shalom Zielony Plaza Taussig Cancer Center Original Cleveland Clinic Building Made it back in time for the main event(s), the baseball game between Tigers and Indians @ Progressive Field... Quicken Loans Arena, home of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians of the MLB Quicken Loans again, BTW, many call it the "Q" Arena for short... Progressive Field tour... Made it to my seat... the Tigers practising in front of me... There were A LOT of Tigers fans in my section and a lot of them walking around downtown and staying in my hotel and at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, almost like a second home to the Tigers fan base, :D Scoreboard... nice... Brandon Inge Miguel Cabrera Umpires probably contemplating how they're gonna screw the Tigers over again this time... Indians Players getting ready to start... First pitch of the game... Austin Jackson gets a double to start... Johnny Damon at the plate... and gets out Magglio Ordonez Tigers lead 1-0 early... Brandon Inge at the plate... Singled to first Indians scored two runs in the bottom of the 2nd to lead, 2-1, then the next inning Detroit got another run to tie the game at 2. But Scherzer's time was limited after what happened next Indians scored 2 more runs in the bottom of the 4th inning and 4 more in the bottom of the sixth... To make it 8-2, ouch... Needless to say, the Tigers didn't have it so good in Cleveland... apparently the Indians have tasted more success against the Tigers than any other team in the MLB at home... All the Indians faithful cheering in the top of 9th, knowing their team will likely succeed... ... and they did. Indians won, 8-2. Indians teammates congratulating eachother after a well-played game. However, even though I am a Tigers fan, I was a good sport, stuck around till the very end and watched the fireworks Over 22,000 in attendance, not bad. Outside the stadium after the game ended The Q Arena and AT&T Building... Terminal Tower and other buildings
