The poll will close in two days, so please vote ASAP so we can get an idea of when to hold the happy hour. EDIT: February 17 is out, as there are only two votes, and one was mine. February 18, 201114 yr A little over a mile is my best guestimate taking the Red Line into UC. And you would have to walk up Cedar Glen Parkway and then another hill until you reach the "Heights". The Green Line would drop you off more around 2 miles away.
February 18, 201114 yr ^0.82 miles per mapquest, so about 15 minute walk. If the weather is good, it shouldn't be a problem.
February 18, 201114 yr Google Maps says 0.7 miles, so it's in the ballpark of 3/4 mile. In college, I used to go up that hill every time I went jogging and it's really not that bad. In Pittsburgh, it might not even be considered a hill. :) And on the way back, you can just stumble downhill back to the rapid.

I was secretly hoping for a romantic dinner at the Jolly Scholar... :) Seriously, though, if no one else wants to come, we may have to move the date. I don't plan on being there much later than 7 PM anyway, though, so if we get a couple more commits, we're still on. I believe Emmie may still be planning on coming, and you never know when the mysterious Hts121 may show his face in this thread again. :) Any chance we could get a celebrity appearance from MayDay, KJP, or MTS? Either way, I'll make a concrete decision by noon tomorrow.
