Once upon a time I could just copy and paste the link that Google offers for "email and IM" into a post and it would show up as a hyperlink, but now when I do that the link shows up in the post as a blank box, presumably in a failed attempt to show the Google view directly. 

 

Is there something I can do to get the direct view to work or just to get the link to show as a link?

 

I am on a PC and I switch between chrome and Firefox.  Thanks!
