SMITH Tribune Chronicle NEWTON FALLS - The more than 100-year-old ''Newton Falls Tower'' is expected to be torn down today because of damage caused when 14 train cars derailed Monday, crashing into the former train station and damaging its foundation. Investigators still are trying to determine what caused the accident, but trains were back on track by 11 a.m. Tuesday, traveling on the rebuilt tracks. "The scene is pretty much clear," Newton Falls police Chief John Kuivila said. "Everything is running pretty smoothly. They did a phenomenal job in getting out here and getting everything back up.
