What greater Cleveland neighborhoods have the greatest concentrations of relatively unmolested craftsman style houses/bungalows?

Welcome to the forum!

If you mean "Arts and Crafts", I would say your best bets would be areas like Ohio City, Detroit-Shoreway, and possibly areas like West Park, although those might be a bit newer than what is traditionally defined as "Arts and Crafts".

As for the surrounding area, you miiiight find some in the northern areas of Old Brooklyn, Parma and Parma Heights but don't quote me on that.

Doesn't the Edgewater neighborhood have a lot of these houses too, especially along West Boulevard, Lake and Clifton? I could be getting my styles confused.

There are a few bungalows along West Boulevard, and some of the Clifton multi-family homes have Arts-and-Crafts influences. Still, those are likely to be an isolated house here and there. Lake Avenue is predominately Tudor, Colonial, etc. Arts-and-Crafts homes tend to have more horizontal proportions, pronounced structural elements (brackets, siding).

Here are some pretty typical examples of Arts-and-Crafts bungalows:

Yes, in general I mean Arts-and-Crafts style but to be a bit more specific I'm leaning toward more of the bungalow style...1 or 1 1/2 story structures.  Basically I'm trying to eliminate the whole Foursquare design from the search as there is certainly no shortage of Foursquare houses anywhere in Ohio it seems.

I can't think of anywhere in Greater Cleveland would be predominant.  The craftsman bungalow was really a Western thing.  When the Arts and Crafts style was at it's peak in the teens and twenties Cleveland was building mostly a variety of English-revival styles such as Tudors, Colonials, and Georgians.

I'd guess that Lakewood is your best bet, but even there they aren't the main style of house.  I know that you'll also find some in the outer suburbs like Westlake and Avon Lake on the older main roads. Overall, I think you'll find them scattered everywhere, but dominant nowhere.
