The 120 year old McNally Cottage on Mackinac Island might be demolished for a new hotel.

Amazing.  In Ann Arbor, the University wants to move a dumpy suburban house because they don't want it anymore and don't want to tear it down.  Yet at Mackinaw Island, a historic structure may be destroyed.  They better block this.  All this garbage talk about "create tax base...help the state."  B.S.  Mackinaw Island generates more than enough revenue.  1 building isn't going to be all that noticeable.

When I think of Mackinac I think Hilton and a great pool and a huge breakfast buffet. I mean, what do these people want, to preserve the history and culture of a truly unique place? How quaint.
