It's got my 2 votes(home/work). It would be ironic if the $$ will be used to save 1314 Vine St.

OTR's in 1st!!!

Please keep voting and sharing!

Enterprise Hometown Improvement has gained some serious ground. OTR now leads by a mere 22 votes (2126-2104) after being up by 116 last night. Spread the word!

41 votes away from 1st! The guy who created Streetfilms just voted for OTR!

OTR, how do you get the number of votes, am I missing something?  I work at the Trust and I cant figure it out!

When you vote, it tells you how many votes the organization has received. Using the cancel vote option allows you to scan the front runners to determine the actual vote count.

As Cygnus explained, I cancel my vote for OTR then vote for a competitor then cancel and put my vote back in for OTR.

Something's fishy. The Wellington Ritz Theatre gained over 200 votes between the hours of 10pm and 430am last night. And they gained less than 5 facebook likes.

Does that seem weird to anyone else but me? OTR is far and away the winner when it comes to facebook likes and a close second (had it not been for the mysterious 200 votes last night).

It's a goofy voting system...

I could put anyone's email address in and vote. It creates an account and emails you a password but you aren't required to verify the account. Most people would probably mark it as spam. Few will go to the site to find out what it's all about. I doubt anyone will change the vote made for them.

Not sure what happens if you were to use an invalid email address. You'd vote but not sure what the organization does when they receive a email failure notice.

And then you could always just create a disposable addresses with Google or Yahoo. You'd seemingly be able to vote an infinite amount of times.

Ouch, OTR dropped to third. I'm going to see if I can get my KY co-workers to jump on board.

Anyone know Matthew Lafkas or anyone else on the OTR 5K Leadership Team? I'd think they could use their distribution list to email those who ran/participated in the OTR 5K...

OTR's in 2nd and closing the gap! Spread the word!

8 days left!

If we can get the Cleveland folks to switch their vote on the final day, we should be able to do this.

Yes and there will be one at Neon's, Arnold's, Japp's tonight/tomorrow and there was one at Coffee Emporium this morning and Neon's yesterday.

Please, please, please tell your friends. Or ask if you can vote with their emails for them...this would be a great award for OTR to win.

OTR Foundation vying for votes

The Over-the-Rhine Foundation is neck-in-neck for a first place finish in the 2011 This Place Matters Community Challenge, an online competition hosted by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The non-profit is vying to win $25,000 to save at-risk historic buildings in Over-the-Rhine. But to do so, it still needs votes.

The online voting competition ends at  5 p.m. Thursday.  To help its cause, the foundation will be at Fountain Square Wednesday from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to help register online voters.

Still holding onto that lead! Great job guys!!! Keep it up -- just a few more hours!

OMG! OTR's in 2nd by over 1300 votes and Dreamland Ballroom from Little Rock rose like a rocket in the middle of the night.

Unbelievable. WE CAN STILL WIN THIS THOUGH!
