June 20, 201113 yr Well THAT was comprehensive. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
June 20, 201113 yr I've never been there, but all of the Los Angeles threads make the city look awesomely chaotic. It always seems a lot more urban than I would expect.
June 20, 201113 yr It was about twice as long as it needed to be, but there were lots of great people shots in there. I appreciate the cityscape photos, but when there's people pics in there too, it literally brings the city to life. Thanks! June 20, 201113 yr Very nice. I was just out there back in March. Nothing has changed in all the time since then. Looks like a lot of Santa Monica spiced in there as well. Did you see the crazy guy yelling at the ocean? I can't imagine he left yet...he seemed awfully angry at it.
June 20, 201113 yr Nice pics, but no love for us folks on the Westside?! LOL I've never been there, but all of the Los Angeles threads make the city look awesomely chaotic. It always seems a lot more urban than I would expect. He was taking photos in the most "urbane" or "pedestrian friendly" places in LA. June 20, 201113 yr You seem to have captured the essense of LA completely in your series of phots. Amazing shots. Although it is blasphemy for a northern Californian to say so, LA is fantastic, enthrawling, crazy and wonderful. My compliments! Especially like the freeway shots winding through the hills. Not pleasant to be driving on, but they have a strange beauty.
June 21, 201113 yr A lot of great shots - thanks for sharing! clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
June 21, 201113 yr I still can't believe that LA is where I call home...I don't think it will ever feel like that, even after living there for 3 years now. It is an ugly city with chaotic architecture, horrible traffic, and largely unimpressive neighborhoods for a city of it's size. Yet, despite all this, I kind of love it.
June 21, 201113 yr This city doesn't interest me as much as it used to. I prefer California's smaller cities. Maybe there's just not enough neon pink stand-up Jet Skis, lifted Toyota trucks with KC Lites and net tailgates, C-list hair bands, chicks with big hair and yellow bikinis or lime green 2-stroke motocross bikes around town these days.

I've always felt that way about LA. The earlier part of this year I spent a straight month in LA. Being there everyday, it kind of grew on me, except for the traffic. I HATE LA traffic with a passion. And that Dead Ass downtown, yuk!
