July 17, 201113 yr Thanks. I dig New Roc City! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
July 18, 201113 yr My impression from the first photos was "Lots of asphalt and concrete," but it gets better as it goes along and there are more trees and more grass and shrubbery. I like the older stone buildings.
July 18, 201113 yr When ever I hear New Rochelle I always think of the old Dick Van Dyke show. I always thought it was a 100% very wealthy suburb, but the pics do not suggest that, although very nice middle class homes. Does it get more upscale closer to the water or Larchmont?
July 18, 201113 yr Thanks. I dig New Roc City! Really , i think it killed the Downtown. I meant the city itself (nickname from rappers), not the complex with Applebee's ;). "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers

I like the older stone buildings. It was a block change from tree lined Pelham to Concrete New Rochelle or no trees with Grass.... It was strange to say the least , the middle Class section of Pelham rubs against the poor area of New Rochelle. The older stone buildings are very common in the suburbs of this region.

It has some rich parts , i did not visit them. The Middle Class / poor class seem to have pockets of wealthier blocks , its very strange.
