Can anyone recommend a trustworthy and affordable mechanic on the west side that can work on Fords? Thanks.

I don't know how far west of Cleveland you're looking to drive, but this is the only place I would ever take my truck (chevy).  He is an old Parma auto shop teacher with 35 years experience.  I have been going there for 10+ years and they are as good as you're going to get (and I mean good).  Every "car" person I know takes their vehicle their when they cannot fix it.  I would be happy to explain further if you would like.

Rick Damper, Damper Automotive.  Right on Lorain & W.79th.  Very good guy, calls with an estimate before doing any work, takes into account the overall value of the vehicle he's working on and checks into lower cost options before going ahead.  Took my wife's old car there for a number of things and he was honest, reasonable and on time.  At the end he actually recommended we get rid of it & buy a newer car rather than keep bringing it to him.
