August 13, 201113 yr Wow... That new construction gives me hope. Gorgeous. Acoording to the owners 90% of the site is sold out , so there going ahead full steam with the whole project.
August 13, 201113 yr Wow... That new construction gives me hope. Gorgeous. Totally agree with DJ Orion--this huge complex is both stately and beautiful. How is it described? Condos? Apts? Mixed use, etc? (Will the "average Joe" be able to afford something like this?) Next question (and a totally naive, but serious one from an outsider)--doesn't the mighty Hudson pose a danger to such a low lying complex? I'm confused. A much lesser river such as the Ohio would engulf this complex in a second!

A much lesser river such as the Ohio would engulf this complex in a second! There mostly condos and townhouses that start at 500k and go to 1.3 Million but there selling fast. The Average joe's live near the Downtown areas of both towns , which is the case of all the towns in this region. The Hudson River does not flood , and this section is 3 miles wide....there are Ice jams that occur about 10 miles North near the part that's only 700ft across.... The Delaware River and a few others flood and badly....
