Posted August 19, 201113 yr Not sure if anyone has mentioned this on any other forum, but I thought this the best place for it. I came across the IdeaScale software not too long ago and feel like Cleveland should really use it. It's apparently free for governments, and has been used by cities such as Austin and even the White House. Check it out at http://ideascale.com It's like an UrbanOhio forum where the information and ideas we come up with go straight to the city of Cleveland where they can be amended, commented upon, and gain or lose popularity by us (the public)... all for the benefit of Cleveland. Yay Innovation!
August 19, 201113 yr Hey, whatever happened to clevelandideas.com? It was a website designed to collect ideas on improving Cleveland and allowing others to comment on others' ideas? Similar to what the ideascale seems to be about? Here's some coverage on it: http://www.moneysmith.com/2009/05/social-media-success-story-clevelandideascom/
August 20, 201113 yr No idea, seems to have vanished though, looked like the same kind of thing. It seems to me www.yourchangingcleveland.com is going the same way, hasn't been updated since it debuted aside from the twitter feed, and no one seems to post anything pertinent anyway... If Digiknow was running that site, it seems they didn't connect it well to the city of Cleveland government, either that or it just wasn't publicized. Hopefully we can try again with Ideascale (there's an app for that!)
