May 9, 20232 yr Jaeger Square (5-6-23) German Village's tight streets, close structure spacing, road layout and good tree cover make it pretty difficult to see the tower crane from much of the area. The development will be pretty well "hidden" by its own neighborhood, certainly no whale. Saint Mary School renovation and expansion South Lane infill west of Parsons South Lane infill west of Washington Lathrop and Blenkner infill

I'm eager to see what will be built between S 9th St, Livingston, and S Washington Ave. The density along this corridor is amazing and a few more shops and having the bike lane protected along Livingston would be huge. It wouldn't hurt if they also put a small cafe within the Children's projects across Livingston to increase pedestrian traffic in this area.

Video game industry could learn a thing or two from this company. Announce things when they are already 60% done!

July 28, 20231 yr I walk by this development everyday and I've spoken with a few of the neighbors that live around and their #1 complaint is parking. Not one person mentioned about it being "too big" or blocking their sun. They're worried they'll have to park half a block down the street from their home time to time.

That’s pretty normal in any city, it happens, you can’t stop development based off that.
August 2, 20231 yr I’ve still not noticed any demo work or anything going on with the Livingston Ave project, but the site has been updated recently with new renderings and several new tenants announced. So hopefully soon.

August 2, 20231 yr Kinda sucks to see a bunch of chain restaurants there, but being across the street from a hospital it's not too much of a surprise. Regardless, it's great to see some commercial space being added here. This stretch of Livingston is really ripe for more development like this.

I like the building and those businesses could always fail and be replaced by something more interesting! Let Chipotle do the leg work of building a kitchen haha.

I expect them to be hitting the drive thru of the Starbucks two floors below them so they don't have to step outside briefly.

They have 3 within a half mile of each other on campus. The hospital workers and people visiting don’t want to go all the way down the street to get some coffee.

I’m okay with it right now. It’s honestly such a dead zone that almost any sort of retail would be nice. I do hope there are more local options with the remaining spots tho.

It would be great to see a few local or smaller chains go in there. If anything hopefully it does well and spurs more retail/housing along Livingston.

August 2, 20231 yr Rent in new buildings is typically very high which a lot of times keeps the local businesses out.

Hopefully not exactly like this considering 2/3rds of the site is surface parking.
August 2, 20231 yr It’s three levels of parking beneath an amenity deck, according to the site plans.
