November 1, 200519 yr Remembering what Sam Wyche once said. I'm glad that guy lives in Cincy and not Cleveland. :-P
November 1, 200519 yr Jeez the last two games I've went to someone has gone onto the field. At Sunday Night Football last year someone ran onto the field but got no where near the play. It never got on TV either. Some idiots on TV today were saying he should have been penalized by the refs. If that were the case, I hope someone would run out in Colts gear if that game came down to that. The Colts game got moved to 4:15 BTW. National TV baby!
November 3, 200519 yr that was pretty hillarious footage if you ask me, kudos to drunk guy for making me laugh
November 7, 200519 yr The Bengles took it on the chin today...I think the best they can do this year is 11-5. That includes another loss to pittsburgh, one to Indy and at Baltimore. Oh they passed a test yesturday, by beating Baltimore. They should go 12-4 now.
November 7, 200519 yr The Browns won too! I was mad though, the Bengals were on TV and the browns weren't up here!
November 7, 200519 yr Some good video editors took the video of this guy and pasted the burger king guy over him. I will see if I can find it again.
November 19, 200519 yr We don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan the whole state of Michigan the whole state of Michigan We don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan We're from O-HI-O Troy Smith = Donovan McNabb?
November 20, 200519 yr First Browns shutout since November 2001! Woo hoo! Charlie even got a little playing time! Ruben Droughns for MVP!
November 21, 200519 yr Indy just scored again. I stayed up Saturday night to watch USC/Fresno St and that game, barely, beats out Indy-Cincy for offensive game of the year.
November 21, 200519 yr At least the Buckeyes beat that team up north, so my entire weekend wasn't ruined.
December 3, 200519 yr Ohio basketball is now 2-0 with a blowout win today. They are expected to crack the top 25 this season, especially if we beat Cincinnati and Kentucky this year. The Ohio Women's Volleyball team beat Alabama in the first round of the NCAA's and play Ohio State in the second round tonight in St. Johns Arena!!!
December 4, 200519 yr Speaking of basketball... Who is planning to represent on New Year Eve at the Shott for OSU V LSU?
December 4, 200519 yr OHIO Volleyball sweeps the Buckeyes 3-0 in Columbus to make the sweet 16!!!! GO BOBCATS!!!
September 25, 20195 yr First post in this thread in 14 years... but I figured it's the appropriate venue. Congratulations to my dad's alma mater, the Padua Bruins. Their women's volleyball team won the Louisville Invitational this weekend, beating the #1 and #4 teams in the country, and skyrocketing to #1 and #2 in all national HS girls volleyball polls! Very impressive, especially for a Midwestern school.

Very impressive, especially for a Midwestern school. Actually this is quite the norm. Ohio, Wisc, Minn, and Nebraska are womens volleyball breeding grounds. The Big Ten, followed by the Pac 12, are the nations premier college volleyball leagues. Schools churn out talent, to make a pipeline to the Big Ten. When I was in High School, Regina, Lakewood, Magnificat and Hathaway Brown were beasts. Volleyball, like football is very popular here in Ohio.
November 15, 20213 yr Although I did not attend my hometown college of Lake Erie, I still follow stuff that goes on there, so congratulations to the men's soccer team for winning their conference championship! It never ceases to amaze me, as I've reiterated many times, how fifty years ago (when it was still all female) the school was sort a local bastion of left wing/feminist politics (none other than Betty Friedan gave a lecture to a packed house back in the day). I hesitate to call Lake Erie a "jock school" now, but I guess it's safe to say it's totally shed its original roots, founded by members of Mount Holyoke College-- now one of the wokeist schools in the nation 😝 http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/

These guys are going to put Painesville on the map...or maybe not 🥴 ⚽ http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/

Apparently Lake Erie hasn't heard of them either, spelling Hays with an "e". Honest mistake or trolling? lol http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/
