Hi everyone,

Quick question that I am hoping someone knows more about.  There was a guy that sets up a stand in various places that features old photos from I believe the Cleveland Press.  The photos are in postcard or 8.5" x 11" sizes and predominantly all in B/W.  I've bought several from him before, I think from maybe within Tower City when they have their Marketplace Friday events.  Does anyone know any more specifics about this guy?  Is there a website?  Does he have a brick & mortar location?  I am trying to buy several more for an event.

Thanks

I'm not sure if you are talking about Jim Ptacek - his photos aren't all old historic ones but he has though.  However, his prints are all sepia, not black and white.  So it may not be the artist you are speaking of.  If it is - let me know and I have information on him (he's my uncle).  His stuff is sold all over the place and he often sets up at Market Days in Ohio City - as well as other festivals all around town.

You can also buy the photos directly from clevelandmemory.com

The guy (if it is the same guy) is usually over at the Galleria on a daily basis during lunchtime.
