Posted September 27, 201113 yr I'd put myself in the 10-30% category. You? "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
September 27, 201113 yr Same here. We should be Facebook friends so we can not care about each other.

September 27, 201113 yr I keep a pretty low profile on FB compared to my peers. You're either family, a real friend, or one of the few randoms I've let in for no apparent reason. Those randoms account for about 10-15% of the people I'm "friended" with. Now, if you looked at my cellphone phonebook that's where I'd fall in around 20-30% of people I actually care about.
September 28, 201113 yr Define care!?! If I had to classify "care" as "someone I would loan $100, no questions" I'd put the number somewhere around half.
September 28, 201113 yr It's a pretty high percentage. I mean, there's almost no one on my FB that I want to see get hit by a bus.

September 28, 201113 yr Ive "friended" things like taverns or government agencies and programs or things like arts projects and bands and stuff like that. Most of the people I know in realtime are not on facebook or are just occasionally, like me.
September 28, 201113 yr I'm in the 30-50% range. Of my FB friends I'd say I know or have actually met 90%. Most of those though are people I went to Elementary, middle and High School with. People who I know, but don't neccesarily associate with or "care" about anymore. That said it be messed up to hear of one of them getting hit by a bus.
September 28, 201113 yr I don't have an account. While I know the people I would be friends with I would care about. I would not care about what they had for dinner last night though, or what their 2 year old put on their head.
September 28, 201113 yr I don't have an account either. Honestly, the way it's set up there's too much info coming at you. I look at my wife's account and it's a non-stop barrage. I couldn't keep up even if I cared deeply about each and every one of them. So I guess, since I have 0 friends, I care about 100% of them?

My percentage went wayyyyyyyyy down after my 10 year high school reunion. Maybe I should have ignored more friend requests.
