Posted October 22, 201113 yr I'm getting ready to graduate from UC in December and believe I will be entertaining some job offers in the Cin-NKY area in the coming weeks. If I do stay here, I'd like to leave Clifton and will be exploring OTR very heavily for rental options, which my understanding are few and far between since this area is not only affordable but also quite hot right now... So where and how should I start looking? Does anyone have any contacts I might utilize? Basically I will be looking for a 1 bedroom, $400-$550 tops, that is recently updated (modern amenities) and offers good access to Findlay Mkt/Main St/Gateway Dst. Any/all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
October 22, 201113 yr Definitely try urban sites properties. They recently listed a couple newly updated lofts on Facebook, though I'm not sure of the rent.
October 23, 201113 yr $550 is pretty low budget. I rented from Urban Sites for many years and they are good, but hard to find much that cheap.

Realistically I'd be willing to get up into the $650 area for a place that really fits my needs well, but I just threw out $550 since that's what it seems like alot of things on CL are listed for...
October 24, 201113 yr That is gonna be low for rent. But also try 'Jim Moll is Leasing'. If he doesn't have anything he might direct you others. I might also try looking in Liberty Hill. I think rents might be cheaper but OTR adjacent.
October 24, 201113 yr My apt is going to be available Dec. 1, but the rent is $1000 a month. It includes parking and is right above senate in a great location. It is through Jim Moll.
October 25, 201113 yr criminy, if you can get a downpayment, you can buy in Northside for under $1k/mo. Then you can plant a garden, get a dog, couple cats, chickens, crank up the stereo & pee in the back yard, too.

I know I wasn't. Making statements like that about someone else's housing is judging and criticizing their life choices.
