October 24, 201113 yr I hate driving the area south of the Meadowlands because of all the warped pavement. It's like driving through an earthquake sometimes. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
October 24, 201113 yr Exit 15X? What's the story behind that one? I thought FWW was winner of the high exit letter derby until it was redone.
October 24, 201113 yr I hate driving the area south of the Meadowlands because of all the warped pavement. It's like driving through an earthquake sometimes. Excluding Newark and Trenton, I've found the roads in New Jersey to be really good. New Jersey appears to put the huge amount of tax money they collect to good use. P.S. - Talk about warped roads, drive on I-10 in Louisiana. It felt like we were surfing on waves from all the ripples in the concrete.
October 25, 201113 yr Oh, I agree. New Jersey certainly has some of the better roads in cold climate states but that section of the Turnpike near Newark is horrendous. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
October 25, 201113 yr I hate driving the area south of the Meadowlands because of all the warped pavement. It's like driving through an earthquake sometimes. The ground below it is slowly sinking....so its abit wavy in some spots. This is due to the fact that they built the Turnpike through Wetlands , so the Western spur has this problem. In my Opinion the Western spur should have never been built.

Actually were almost broke , the NJTPK , and Parkway are in great shape because there toll roads , the rest of the roads are horrible.
October 25, 201113 yr Exit 15X? What's the story behind that one? I thought FWW was winner of the high exit letter derby until it was redone. Theres a Exit 15E , Exit 15W , so when the train JCT was built they gave the exit an X. Its new , opened in 2005....
