Do you have power, some of the people that I work with, that live in NJ do not have power.

Cool shots, Nexis, thanks!  So weird seeing snow with that many green leaves still on the trees.

Yes I do , but most of my town does not.  I seem to be on an Island of 60 people who have it in a sea of black.

Indeed it is , thats why many trees and branches collapsed , we get wet heavy snow alot in the winter but of course the leaves are all gone by then.

Yeah Jersey got hit pretty hard. Judging from all the facebook posts, my hometown (Washington, Warren County), Oxford, and the surrounding areas were without power for at least 24 hours. A few of my friends are still without power. Luckily my area didn't get much snow.

Looks like the ground was warm enough that the snow melted off real fast.

I was in Brooklyn when that storm hit.  Try imaging walking and dining that entire day.  Century 21 by the WTC (where I was forced to get some gloves/hat) was packed.  Oy!

I'm surprised there are still so many leaves on the trees there. Looks almost like late August/ early September instead of late October. I love how the skies are usually electric blue following an East Coast snowstorm. I was in Pittsburgh this weekend and there were only a few trees that still had leaves on them. Not much snow accumulated in the city, but the surrounding areas looked like they may have received about three inches. The gloom of the low hanging grey clouds and snow showers made it look like January.

I surprised it even stuck in the first place...since the ground was so warm...

Thats interesting to hear that the leaves are mostly gone out there , for some reason there mostly on the trees still.  Although i heard further north there falling off...
