August 29, 20231 yr They put black bricks over those concrete barrier things(bottom middle 2nd photo) which I did not see in the renderings. I think I like it!
September 1, 20231 yr City Hall. They are starting to brick the south side. I'll get that angle soon.
September 1, 20231 yr ALMOST there!I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't like this building. It looks like it was made to fill a gap in an already dense neighborhood but it has nothing surrounding it so it looks awkward and bare from some angles imo. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk It's in the bar/business district. There was another tower of equal height that was to be built to the right of it, that is why that side is just bare brick. I personally love this building but a lot of the older townies hate it. Are you in your 50's or 60's? 😁

March 21, 20241 yr It looks OK in person. I used to hang out at the old business school in the 1980s, learning about transportation logistics management. I saw the new building this past weekend while driving my wife around my old KSU haunts as our son was busily winning a district science fair competition in Akron and advancing to the state competition next month in Columbus! Really impressed with how much "downtown" Kent has changed since 2015ish. It's pretty impressive. I was down there two weeks ago and was blown away by the transformation.
March 28, 20241 yr I beleive over the next 15 years you will see steady growth on St Rt 43 heading south out of town, all the way to I-76. And, on St Rt 59, east of campus towards the Ravenna line. Kent State is also marketing many acreage parcels that it owns on Summit and St Rt 261. Very exciting for KSU and Kent....go Flashes!
