Hey all,

I'm coming to Cleveland soon.  I want to explore as many abandonments as I can.  Since finally moving to Detroit I've been on a real exploring kick.  Looking to meet up with someone or get some tips.

Thanks

Count me in.  I've only been to two buildings, but would love to do more....

I should mention I've done Warner and Swasey, and Westinghouse Electric.

Yeah only two I've done as well.  I have ideas for 2 more.

So I had to go back to the Westinghouse building to retake a pic, and it looked like there was some minor work that has happened.  I didn't realize it until afterwards, so I don't have good pictures of what has happened, but I will try and describe it.

This stairwell to the catwalk is gone, but I figure maybe someone stole it for scrap.

On the catwalk, there was a large, probably 5 foot by 5 foot hole cut in the floor.  Not sure why someone would do this.

Before: the hole would be in the foreground of this pic.

After: this pic was taken from the opposite end of the catwalk.  You can sort of see the yellow caution tape that was put around the hole.  Also, on the railings, someone taped signs that said something along the lines of "do not lean on railings, they do not support weight."  These were not there before.

These steps are the before, I don't have an after, but I think they were either covered up or replaced with wood steps.

Not sure what any of this means.

Also, just for fun, here is a pic I never posted before, but I like this one.
