Posted November 20, 201113 yr Hey all, I'm coming to Cleveland soon. I want to explore as many abandonments as I can. Since finally moving to Detroit I've been on a real exploring kick. Looking to meet up with someone or get some tips. Thanks
November 21, 201113 yr I would like to see pictures of the back of the buildings here. And I thought I heard the large building is abandoned or at least parts are. http://maps.google.com/?ll=41.49964,-81.699907&spn=0.001012,0.002352&t=h&z=19&vpsrc=6 And the back of the John Hartness Brown Buildings. Not as much of Urban Exploring though.

December 24, 201113 yr So I had to go back to the Westinghouse building to retake a pic, and it looked like there was some minor work that has happened. I didn't realize it until afterwards, so I don't have good pictures of what has happened, but I will try and describe it. This stairwell to the catwalk is gone, but I figure maybe someone stole it for scrap. WestinghouseII_220 by KP SMITH, on Flickr On the catwalk, there was a large, probably 5 foot by 5 foot hole cut in the floor. Not sure why someone would do this. Before: the hole would be in the foreground of this pic. Westinghouse_316 by KP SMITH, on Flickr After: this pic was taken from the opposite end of the catwalk. You can sort of see the yellow caution tape that was put around the hole. Also, on the railings, someone taped signs that said something along the lines of "do not lean on railings, they do not support weight." These were not there before.
