Sorry if this isn't the correct forum to discuss this, but do any of you know what providers work best in Cleveland?  We are currently deciding between Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T.  I've had Verizon for a while and have had a good experience, but Sprint appears to have the best deal for the iPhone.  Any help would be appreciated!

i use verison with no problems

I think Verizon has the best coverage.  I have Sprint, which is ok for the most part, but there are spots that give me trouble.

Sprint has crummy service in Marblehead and there are very small pockets that I've found when going over ridges while driving across Cuyahoga County (not on the highway) that calls will drop.

But with a cheaper bill, a decent choice of quality phones, and unlimited data (for now anway) it is a choice I'd probably make again.

I switched from Verizon to Sprint and am glad I did.  I actually had poor reception at work previously, and now I get a full signal with great 3G speeds.  Also, even though I never had problems with getting a signal near my house, I had extremely slow speeds on 3G, which again are much better with Sprint.

My wife is still on Verizon, and there are spots where she gets a better signal, but I'd say there are just as many spots where I get a better signal.  On a trip through the mountains to North Carolina last summer, I kept a 3G signal nearly the entire way, whereas she had no signal at all through much of West Virginia.  Her phone does seem to do better in less populated areas near Lake Erie, though, such as Ashtabula, where I drop down to 1X and she maintains a 3G signal.

Sprint gives you more for less, though, and IMO has a better selection of phones.

Oh, and by the way, it's a pretty universal opinion that AT&T sucks.  Consumer Reports just rated the cell phone companies, and Verizon and Sprint came out nearly identical, whereas AT&T was way in last place in pretty much every market.

Thanks for your responses, everyone.  It definitely was helpful. I think right now, we're going to lean towards Sprint.
