This small cemetery chapel was in the background in the opening scene of Night of the Living Dead. Now fans & one of the movie's production crew are working to restore the dilapidated structure. Evans City is in western PA.

Its funny you posted this, because I was just up in Butler, PA the last two days and took the ~40 min drive to Evans City with my girlfriend to visit her dad who now works at a certain fracking company. We then drove out to the cemetery and took the requisite gravestone photos at the Kramer and Blair headstones. The chapel is in horrible shape, though and needs lots of work.

Found out about this over on the popular social networking site, Zombie Friends.

Chick over there, Katie McGhoulie, said they have people offering to donate services including foundation work but they still need supplies.

Loks like preservation efforts are underway. This is from 2013 sometime.
