What a perfect thing for that building. It will be a lot like the Netherland Plaza in Cincy just without the history. But what a great location for this project.

Soon to open on floors five through 10 of Columbus’ iconic LeVeque Tower, the 149-room hotel combines an Art Deco style reminiscent of the Roaring Twenties with modern touches and a celestial theme.

Hotel LeVeque Opens Today

 

The Columbus skyline’s most prominent building, LeVeque Tower, opened its long-anticipated Hotel LeVeque today. The hotel, one of 100 Autograph Collection Hotels in the nation, takes up floors five through 10 in the tower and offers 149 rooms

- Over 80 percent of the building’s 69 apartments are occupied and the final finishes being put on eight for-sale condominiums on floors 34 through 37.

 

- The 38th floor will be used for storage units for renters.

 

- The very top of the building is being divided into four condo units, with one residence spanning the 39th and 40th floors, another taking up floors 41 and 42, and two single-floor units on the 43rd and 44th floors.

 

- Hotel LeVeque, with 149 rooms on floors five through ten, has been open since March, and a new second-floor restaurant could be open as soon as the end of August.

 

- All visitors, residents, workers, and hotel guests enter the LeVeque through a shared ground-floor lobby that began renovations in early 2012 and was completed in late 2013.

Columbus Monthly takes us on a tour of the new LeVeque Tower residences which are now for sale above the 34th floor.  The building's classic 1927 exterior has been restored.  But the residence interiors have been given a fresh, clean and light aesthetic:

The renovated LeVeque is getting a new restaurant - The Keep.  Dinner service started August 28.  Breakfast and lunch service will start September 4.
