much overdue, but not really anticipated, my 2005 photo recap

Sorry i'm late on this year. 2005 wasn't as good of a photo year as 2004 was. My camera blows and is dying a slow painful death. It has its bad and good days.

If you remember any of my previous EOY threads from here or SSP, I don't necessarily think i'm picking my best photography, I just pick ones i like, or make me smile. Think of it as a photojournal of my travels in 2005. With that in mind, the photos here are mostly in chronological order.

There is some photos not from ohio in this thread, but most are from the buckeye state.

Anywho, on with the show.

This is only two letters different from the Wisconsin treat of fried cheese curds!

Coldayman's dad my ass.

I've heard of that Guy Lombardo guy before.

Didn't he used to coach in Green Bay?  :-D

Seriously, I think Guy Lombardo and his orchestra used to be the New Year Eve tradition till Dick Clark started his show around '72.

damn, i forgot about magyar!

Damn. I know who Guy Lombardo is too ...

Me too.  I must be older than I thought.

Yep! I know who Guy Lombardo is, and I've always loathed his so-called music.

"All hail Key" - that shot+caption was hilarious...

Guy Lombardo, heck I use to sing in his band.

You're lucky this thread wasn't due at the library, there'd definately be a tardy fine.

Fun tour all around.  The only downer was the Kent State Memorial, I remeber that day very clearly - so sad.

Thanks for the tour pope, now get back to the Vatican, it's almost time for mass.

Speaking of cute birds, who is the chick in the last picture?

the legendary thug mayor of detroit

allstar 023.jpg

Oh he is a thug alright.  I can't believe he was re-elected.  The Channel 7 Mike Wilson reports on him were so enlightening.

What do you think of the new coach?

Nice shots of the Motor City, btw.  I was just downtown this weekend for NAIAS and I drove down Woodward from WSU to Jefferson nad I was amazed at how nice Woodward is looking these days.

thanks all for the compiments.

KJP: that's my so

presres: Yes lets wine and dine at woodward and nine. As for the new coach, I guess i'm pleased. His one positive is his mentality as a drill sargeant, and some of these young guys (i.e. our receives) really need to ship up.

Like my bumper sticker says, "I'd rather be in Ann Arbor." ;)

Great set . . .

mayday, how exactly will you be saluting key? Also, taylor was seemingly an administration building, and amazingly ugly at that.....

Does S.O. stand for Significant Other or Special Other? Or something else?

the first one

"mayday, how exactly will you be saluting key? "

Ohhh, I dunno...  :finger2:  :-D

"Also, taylor was seemingly an administration building, and amazingly ugly at that....."

Yeah, the School of Journalism/MassComm is on the first floor, and the architecture school is on the top floor - go figure.
