Posted February 11, 201213 yr Here's an interesting gallery of some fairly high-resolution photos of railroad bridges from throughout the world. Heavy emphasis is on bridges in the USA, Canada and UK, but also many in other places. There are 24 pages of bridges, with 25 bridges per page, with several angles of each bridge! There are a number of Ohio bridges shown too. So if you're a civil engineer, a bridge fan, a railfan, or you just seeing how they build bridges around the world (IMHO the US bridges are fairly boring by comparison), then you will like this collection! http://www.waymarking.com/cat/details.aspx?f=1&guid=54ca9368-eae4-483d-936a-7116fe852ac5&st=2 Lots of other interesting subjects are covered at waymarking.com as well. February 16, 201213 yr Well, our boring bridges were replacements of some of the more unique spans that we once had. Great collection of photos!
