Article doesn't mention transportation, but it does document that Ohio's population is aging.  I thought this would be adequate to start a thread about transportation trends and needs among seniors... 

 

OXFORD, Ohio -- While Ohio's population growth has been nearly flat, 65-and-older residents are increasing at a rate of nearly 8 percent.

 

 

"The Ohio Department of Aging's director says the report shows the need for changes in preparation for an older population. "

Seems to me that an obvious preparation need is alternatives to driving!
