I had an opportunity to spend 2 hours in the Rotunda exploring the beautiful and unique structure.  Part 1 is the basement and Part 2 is first floor and above.  Enjoy!

I came across a room with this booklet on the history and hundreds of the keys laying around.

Every vault had an escape hatch in the back....some even with a step stool chained to it.

The main vault.  I'd like to see the Oceans 11 crew get through that one!

Awesomeness!

Great to see! I didn't know about the escape hatches.

How is the interior being maintained, especially the main floor of the rotunda and the skylight/ceilings? Any signs of leaks or decay?

Beautiful!!!! Thank you!!!!

Awesome awesome awesome.  I take it you are a member of CPS!  I registered to go too late and it was all booked up.  After seeing your shots I am so disappointed I couldn't go.  Nice work!!

Amazing.

Cooooool!!!

What a tour! I'd be nervous to go in that vault for fear of getting trapped regardless of the escape hatch
