Posted March 19, 201213 yr First floor and above..... That's all folks. It's a real shame this building is not being reused by now. Hopefully sometime soon https://www.instagram.com/cle_and_beyond/https://www.instagram.com/jbkaufer/
March 19, 201213 yr some dome huh! and even if not being used its good to see the place is kept in such great shape.
March 19, 201213 yr It is just incredible that it is not being used. What amazes me is someone like American Greetings when in search of a headquarters and who is in the business to be creative would not be inspired to work and create in this type of space everyday. Instead they choose to define their image and be inspired with the likes of CrockerPark and the great diversity of cookie cutter suburbia.

I'm not an apologist for American Greetings, but we don't their financial status nor their office space needs. We do know that there needs to be significant upgrades to the building to bring it up to par with other class A office space. As much as we want businesses to stay/relocated downtown, sometime we need to look at more than what is on the surface.
March 19, 201213 yr WOW, amazing, thanks for sharing. Looks to be in great shape. Its such a shame this amazing/beautiful space is locked up everyday and nobody gets to enjoy it. I really hope someday it will be open for the public to enjoy. While I hope it gets occupied, I would hate to see the wrong use go in. Looks great though, like its ready to move in today.
March 19, 201213 yr What an epic, beautiful, awe-inspiring space. Glad to see it's being maintained. Sad to see it's empty. Both facts say something about our city. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
March 19, 201213 yr Absolutely incredible... the fact that it is in such pristine condition is great but like everyone here has said, too bad it just sits there empty. Hopefully not for too much longer. Has whoever is maintaining this building ever cleaned the facade, I wonder? The outside does not match the immaculate interior...
March 19, 201213 yr I'm wondering if something could be worked out so that it could be some sort of joint branch location for CMA, WRHS, and/or maybe some other museums.
March 25, 201213 yr Very nice. Who manages the Rotunda now? I think Cuyahoga County manages it in-house. I've not heard/seen any building management firms (ie their trucks, uniformed employees, etc) in and around the building.
