Posted April 3, 201213 yr With a run on great weather and a looming storm cloud in the distance, I walked from my workplace at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and across Victory Parkway to a part of North Avondale that is dotted with large mansions, winding roadways and manicured lawns. I have previously covered North Avondale, but it was centered along Rose Hill Avenue west of Reading Road. This gallery focuses on the residences east of Reading along Winding Way, Lenox Place and Redway Avenue. And my favorite residence of them all at the corner of Lenox Place and Redway Avenue: Further Reading a. North Avondale: http://urbanup.net/cities/ohio/cincinnati-ohio/north-avondale/

April 3, 201213 yr I know this area well and love seeing it put "into focus" once again, Sherman. Oh, how it must have been, when all these homes (and those across Reading Rd. around Clinton Springs) were in their glory. Whether this particular bucolic enclave of opulence and class survives, we'll all just have to wait and see. Thanks!
