I had a great day in Cleveland yesterday; the weather was fantastic and I got to check up on a couple projects. With all the construction and people out yesterday, there was so much energy downtown. I can't wait until I move to Cleveland towards the end of the summer. :)

When I saw the Calfee sign on UO I really didn't like it, but in person it is better.

Overall, I think the park turned out wonderfully. I really liked the mix of out door furniture and the space is really nice.

I'm amazed at how quickly this has gone up. Hopefully it will bring some life to this area and attract more development.

Didn't have much more time to spend in Cleveland, so I only got to see a small amount of what I wanted to, but I'm still pleased with what I did see. This summer is sure going to be exciting.

Amazing shots there! Really impressed with the Med Mart Pics and how well the East Bank is coming along, window!!!!

Awesome pics!  Thanks for sharing with everyone.

When you come back -- University Circle! University Circle!

Thanks for the pics. I was also down at Perk Park on Friday morning, as I had some time between meetings. It was a nice place to stop and check my e-mails and texts. The red adds a much-need splash of color to a gray, black and beige downtown.

And you're right about the energy downtown yesterday. At first it was pretty quiet in the morning, but I think everyone saw it was a nice day and came outside to have lunch and walk around. When I came out of my office on to Euclid at East 9th, there were tons of people hanging out on the plaza in front of the PNC building and just strolling to area restaurants. BTW, that plaza could use more places to sit, such as some decorative cubes, or marble letters that spell out something meaningful.

Thanks for the pics; very nice.  The construction progress is invigorating.  I'm really glad to see the completion of Perk Park; really looks nice; gotta make it down there for a brown bagger some upcoming lunch hour... Yeah, I can only imagine how great it was to be downtown on such a nice TGIF, esp with the pre/post Cavs' game traffic -- (and we whupped the Knicks!).  I really wanted to be downtown yesterday.  Unfortunately, obligations in the burbs prevented it.  Downtown's in a nice groove right now, and your pics point to the fact that it's only going to get better... much better.

Agreed, awesome pics! And yes University Circle! Those pictures would turn out great like these ones!

Great post. Thanks for doing that. And the Calfee is just brilliant, I love it.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you liked them.

@Murray Hill and ClevelandOhio - I'll try to make it out to University Circle when I'm in Cleveland next, hopefully I'll have my camera on me.

@KJP - I don't really think that Perk Park needs any more seating, it seemed like there was plenty. Also, they're pretty comfy for outdoor furniture.

@MayDay - Agreed, the renderings for the Med Mart did not inspire confidence, but perhaps that was done on purpose to lower our expectations, lol.

@Firenze98 - I really like that one too. Thanks ^_^

Sorry, I referenced two downtown locations in my post.

But it was at the PNC Plaza where I thought more seating would be useful.
