Hey--it turn out the "Lake House" restaurant I wanted to go to is NOT closed. Looks like they're called "Summer House" but I could have sworn it was called Lake House. Maybe they changed their name? Its also on the Gold Coast which added to the confusion. This newer restaurant is at 12900 Lake Ave. https://summerhousecle.com/

May 11, 20232 yr Cleveland’s second downtown shining on this beautiful day. May need to widen the panoramic view when the tower at 89th and Carnegie starts to rise.
May 20, 20232 yr Author Cities have traffic. There's nothing wrong it unless you try to make the traffic more fluid by destroying the city to accommodate more/faster moving cars. West 25th Street in Ohio City has traffic because it is a successful, dense, urban neighborhood. One way to tell your city is failing is when it has little or no traffic. June 12, 20232 yr Here's a random photo of Euclid Avenue I got the other day - it's crazy how different it looks since the last time I was in Cleveland and the Sherwin Williams Tower isn't even close to being finished yet! I always say Euclid Ave feels like a slice of Manhattan in Cleveland and the new Sherwin Williams Tower is really adding to that even more.

I posted this pic, crediting Michael of course, on Reddit's r/CityPorn subreddit last night and it's received over 75k views in less than 24 hours, becoming one of the top posts in that sub for this month with about 1.3k upvotes atm. All positive comments with several people saying they'd never seen such a beautiful shot of Cleveland before. I wish more photographers would post their images on Reddit, they garner a lot of views and discussion. I posted a pic I took of the Arcade on r/ArchitecturePorn and it too became one of the top posts of the month in that sub.
