March 14, 20205 yr Figured it was a good time to get back to things that make me happy, like photography. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
March 26, 20205 yr While taking a walk today lamenting no baseball (a warm opening day!? come on!) I saw this cool view highlighting how a good scrubbing can transform the back of a building (CAC). Perhaps a preview of what the unfinished sides of 925 Euclid will look like.
March 26, 20205 yr @mrclifton88 that can't be the Athlon/CAC ? Apologies for being away from the forum - I work in the insurance industry; if anyone ever wants to suggest insurance is boring, after the past week or so, I highly beg to differ. That said, I finally found a quick moment to get some CDC-compliant socially distant fresh air on the Scranton stretch of the Towpath today. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
March 27, 20205 yr ^^ Great pics @MayDay That last one is a real spatial mind-bender. There’s a good half-mile between that vent stack and the Lumen! My hovercraft is full of eels
March 27, 20205 yr AMAZING stuff @MayDay. The second to last picture screams "why aren't those power lines buried!?!" Edited March 27, 20205 yr by MuRrAy HiLL
March 29, 20205 yr Another day, another walk... annnd I forgot to put the memory card in my DSLR so crappy phone pic it is ??♂️ Apparently the Cuyahoga is at record levels today ? clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
March 29, 20205 yr Author These are some great pictures from the storm last night. They make me want to move downtown.... Allow me to blow them up.... "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
March 29, 20205 yr ^ Great pics. There was a clap of thunder downtown about 1.30 this morning that absolutely shook the building to it’s foundations! My hovercraft is full of eels

March 31, 20205 yr Sorry to share my twitter feed, but I need to clean up my photos on here (I uploaded some really high res stuff and it's bumping up against my limits, but I digress...). Here's some photos from a bike ride the other day: And one more (just resized), Graffiti HeART Edited March 31, 20205 yr by GISguy

I've ridden into and around downtown a lot these past couple days and it's very, very strange (but nice for cycling!). I came into the office today and it's just sad/depressing walking around - I'll have to get a video on E4 - businesses that aren't open all have their windows covered, truly a weird sight. It's one thing to be dead after-hours, but a whole other thing when it's during central business hours and in those weird off times.

April 13, 20205 yr Author While we don't have the same number of cherry blossoms as Washington DC, the views around the Wade Park Lagoon this weekend were nonetheless beautiful. These photos are from the National Weather Service and Todd Buswell.... April 13, 20205 yr ^ I've long felt that this is one of the best vistas in the area. Unfortunately it is fleeting.
April 13, 20205 yr I miss my weekday walk around the pond from when I worked at CWRU. Thanks for sharing these @KJP.
April 16, 20205 yr Author Also posted in the weather thread... A friend took this picture off their back porch in an eastern Cleveland suburb this morning. Normally I would consider this to be a very beautiful picture except, well, it's mid-April. May 4, 20205 yr Author Just because our Lakewood condo faces east, doesn't mean we don't get to enjoy sunsets. And notice a blazing Terminal Tower in the distance. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
May 4, 20205 yr Without degrading quality for here, here's some photos from tonight. I'll update this with photos (not twitter) when it isn't time for bed and I have time to mess around with them:

June 9, 20205 yr Hey guys! I wanted to jump in and document downtown in the days after the protests. I’m glad I took these photos as they are a reminder of a very visceral and important place in time. Cleveland is beautiful. Even covered in plywood.
June 11, 20205 yr I ran outside after today’s storms and just happened to be in the right place at the right time to capture these shots! Truly one of the most beautiful rainbows/golden hours/cityscapes I’ve ever seen. Edited June 11, 20205 yr by urbanetics_

June 11, 20205 yr Took a nice relaxing walk on the Towpath (where else?) - the 'nice and relaxing' part didn't last long when we saw this. Turned out to be an accident/fire on the Innerbelt Bridge. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram

June 18, 20204 yr I was searching for a couple photos I thought I had of the new Flats east bank construction but I must have deleted. I did find this one from about a month ago from under the NS bridge at the mouth of the Cuyahoga. Happy summer!
June 28, 20204 yr Author Facebook posting by: Brandon Parsons Downtown Cleveland from State Road in Parma on last night's "night shoot" with Glenn Petranek. This was an incredibly difficult shot to even attempt, and it turned out decent considering. What you DON'T see are the two cars coming up the hill, and the two lanes of oncoming traffic behind us. We were constantly attempting to grab this shot then sprinting back to the curb. Not too bad, overall; wouldn't mind trying it again at 2 AM sometime. July 2, 20204 yr ^ I love the way the Beacon looks in that picture--it really pops in the skyline. I particularly like the horizontal lighting.
July 12, 20204 yr Beautiful day for a ride, out to the far west side for a socially distanced outdoor brunch with friends. When they have views like this from a location about 17 miles due west of Public Square, it adds a little to the experience ? clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
July 13, 20204 yr Great pics, that last you can see Lakewood, Shaker Heights and Chagrin Highlands all in one shoot. Awesome
