Go to tbus.org.uk/news.htm. This is the latest ideas on Trolleybuses. Check out the very first graphic. It shows the futuristic TBus with the addition of wind machines to produce power for some of the TBuses or even rail systems, (my idea). Don't we have enough wind coming off the lake in Cleveland? (And not from politicians?) Couldn't we use the Sun also? Also, the Cloud one is something we could use in Cleveland.

That certainly sounds good - an RTA Windline :)

Dayton has them. It would be cool if they made some steps toward using renewable energy, but I hope they don't update the rolling stock to one of those hideous beasts.

Cincinnati's streetcar will be run on renewable energy...or, really, non-renewable energy with renewable energy credits. Would be very cool if they have some fancier solar tech. It's possible they will have batteries, which would enable regenerative braking and possibly other renewable sourcing.

I think the CAF vehicles might possibly have a large battery and regenerative braking - I don't recall though. Dayton's ETI trolleybuses are definitely cool.

Excellent site with good photos and lots of info. Thanks for the link.
