I just read that Indiana is forming focus groups to come up with a new state slogan. I think I'll send them my suggestions:

1. Could Be Worse.

2. But ... This is the way we've always done it!

and my favorite ...

3. What time is it where you live?

I miss "Wander Indiana."  I can still remember seeing those commercials when I was a kid.

LOL  That is great!  My mom is from Indiana and so most of her family is located there!

How about:

"The Land of the Lost"

or, since they are the crossroads of America, how about

"You'll have to drive through here sometime" LOL

3. What time is it where you live?

This one is my favorite!

Gotta go with the "what time is it" slogan.  Nothing says Indiana like a confused glance at a clock.

I went to the Indiana State Fair last year and have been through the state numerous times en route to Minnesota and Wisconsin, but I really don't have much to say about it. Visiting family in Richmond, Ft. Wayne, and Indy doesn't leave me with many impressions either. Indiana kind of reminds me of south central Ohio, like the miles of farmland in the Washington Courthouse-Circleville area.

How about "What is a Hoosier??"

^ or the more provocative "Hoosier Daddy"

Hoosier Daddy, whats the time?

Like Illinois... minus Chicago.

Come see our corn.

Enjoy our three time zones!

Camden or Gary?Which is worse? Come and find out!

Road Work next 50 miles.

^ That would be like Pennsylvania's:

Construction next million miles

or

Speed Limit 55, next million miles
