Salad...the world's most customizable food...

Me?

Romaine and Iceburg lettuce, mixed

Chicken

Bacon (just a little bit)

Banana Peppers

Black Olives (LOVVEE BACK OLIVES!! I LOAD IT UP!)

Carrots

Provalone Cheese. Lots of cheese!

Ranch Dressing. Lots of Ranch!

Same as you, but no black olives. Don't like them for some reason.

I use spinach as my main ingredient. Lots of it. Green pepper if I'm feeling ambitious.

I try to throw in avocado and hummus if I remember to buy some

I have all different types of salads.

This is my standard base

Watercress, arugula and spinach

Egg Whites

Cranberry's

Red Onion

Corn

Granny Smith apples

Mushroom

Walnuts

Tamatoes

Roasted habanero and/or Jalapeno peppers

Then I'll add a protein.

Jim Beam

Ha! Now we're talkin..

^^Throw in a steak and that's a salad!

hate, hate, hate making salad. The only salad I make at home is one I make when grapes are in season:

Arugula

Chopped walnuts

Red grapes, halved

Freshly grilled/sauteed slices of Halloumi

Dressing of good Greek EVOO, cider vinegar, dill weed and honey

It is amazeballs, seriously.

That sounds good, I would add a scotch bonnet for a lil kick!

Mixed Greens

chopped Pecans (candied if I have them)

Jumbo raisins

crumbled goat cheese

homemade balsamic vinaigrette (balsamic vinegar, evoo, dijon mustard, salt, pepper)

That sounds good

...Wow, even your salads are fruity.

The particular lunch below was brought to me by Roundy's Marianos of Chicago.  Love the customer experience at their stores.  Extremely high end, yet cheap.

Apple Vinaigrette would be great with that kind of salad.
