Posted May 11, 201213 yr This is for a project, a Non-Profit dedicated to promoting Economic Development/mentorship for start-ups in in Dubai. I am afraid to use an online translator since they tend to not work very well. If anyone could show me what: "Angels of Arabia" and "You make a living from what you get. But you make a life from what you give." ...looks like in Arabic or at least a very close translations. Remember it has to be an official-looking font. I wasn't sure if I can get away with using English letters. Dubai is multi-cultural so perhaps that wouldn't be a problem. Jeez, where is Riverviewer when you need him? He had to study Arabic for his assignment in the Army for God's sake.
May 11, 201213 yr You could give these guys a try http://globili.com/ You'd have to translate to QR code first, tho. I know you didn't want an application but since these guys are local (Cincinnati) it would be really easy to toilet paper their homes if they screwed up the translation.
May 12, 201213 yr The online translators work okay for Arabic. Try translating construction documents with technical terms, not fun. The UAE is westernized enough where translation isn't all that necessary. It's like assuming that anything you send to Canada must be translated to french. Why bother?
