Posted May 17, 201213 yr Here's a collection of instagram photos from my phone from early April to present. I started getting summer vibes after I returned from Atlanta. Seems like the warm weather is here to stay now. The next two installments will be mostly from one weekend when friends were in town. View from my dentist Cubs game. May 17, 201213 yr Please don't take this personally. I hate you. I love New Orleans my current home, and of course I love Cleveland, but I ache every day that I don't live in Chicago anymore. St. Patrick's Day 2015 is the date I picked for my return. (All kidding aside, great pics. Chinatown/South loop does get enough love, thanks for the pics. Check out City Tavern when it opens up at the end of the month, 1418 S. Michigan)
May 18, 201213 yr I want that Walgreens NOW!!! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
June 7, 201213 yr ^megadittos on that Walgreens! Put one of those in downtown Dayton and we are SET. (but yeah, these pix tear my heart out. Sweet Home Chicago. Im going there for a quick weekend in July, for the Bughouse Square free speech/soapbox event and the Newberry book sale).
June 7, 201213 yr Ping Tom Park is neat. You can see it off the Orange Line. I really like what they did with that site, good riverfront site but a lot of good old Chicago grit around to give some character. That close-in area was always interesting to me (mainly the area on the other side of the river, Canalport Avenue and vicintiy). However this following pix is great. You can just sense the mild early summer night here.....just beautiful and anticipatory of a night out on the town....the possibilities of the city....
June 7, 201213 yr They are going to put one of those flagship Walgreens here in Center City Philly. :-D
June 8, 201213 yr good photos. I noticed the "canstruction" display in Merchandise Mart. In NY this has been held for a number of years in the World Financial Center Wintergarden around Thanksgiving. I always wonder if those cans are held together with some adhesive material. They have to be, lest some prankster attempts to pull one out from the bottom! http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/
